Usability professionals' organisations from around the world vied to be selected as Global Partner Events with World Usability Day 2011 (WUD). User Vision is delighted to announce our selection as one of only six worldwide for the second consecutive year.
‘Once again User Vision has put together a strong program,’ said Elizabeth Rosenzweig, founder and executive director of WUD. ‘We are especially pleased by the strong tie into this year’s theme ‘Education: Designing for Social Change.’
On Thursday, November 10th 2011 we will be inviting clients and friends to our Edinburgh office to gain a better understand of usability, accessibility and user experience within this exciting and broad field.
It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at our open-house to investigate how usability can impact user social behaviour.
The day will feature various interactive demos and activities, which will allow visitors to explore some of the issues associated with marketing and social media, differences in attitude towards accessibility, collaborative design demonstrations, exploring how brands engage online, and a host of other areas related to the usability of changes in social behaviour.
We are also delighted to announce our special guest, Jonathan Hassell, our client from the BBC, who will be presenting some fascinating work on accessibility tools we have helped the BBC to create and the new accessibility standard BS8878.
The event is free and we look forward to welcoming you to our office.
