Based in the South West, we are currently seeking a User Experience Researcher for a highly innovative technology company currently developing ground breaking user experiences. Their unique patented technology which is currently on the verge of breaking into the public eye, enables a truly unique user interface and as a company are continuing to push the boundaries into new markets.

As a result an exceptional User Experience Researcher is now required on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include taking ownership of research projects, working closely with product and marketing teams to identify opportunities of research focus, designing user studies, planning and conducting user research and testing (qualitative and quantitative), lead workshops, work closely with engineers to develop technology experiences, communicate results to key stakeholders, assist with  pitching.

Key skills:

  • Passionate about user-centered design, research and human behavior with an excellent portfolio.
  • Proven end-to-end experience with all aspects of user research.
  • Degree in marketing or human behavior (HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology) with good knowledge of interaction design principles/UX design.
  • Experienced in qualitative and user-centered design methodologies, with an ability and openness for new methods.
  • A passion for creating products/services that resonate emotionally with people.
  • Experience with analytics tools and statistical methods
