We're working with a security software company in London, who are looking to hire a Senior Visual Designer on a 3-month rolling contract, starting ASAP.

This is a unique and exciting chance for someone to make his or her creative mark for the business on websites seen by millions of people all around the globe.

Duties:

  • Provide and outline creative inspiration and turn these into overall concepts for sign off.
  • Work closely and in collaboration with stakeholders so that the solution is a fully rounded customer experience and solution.
  • Develop a new overall visual style, in conjunction with brand guidelines but stretch them visually to truly differentiate.
  • Design actual web page executions based on agreed page layouts.
  • Work closely with the creative director on the development of photographic and illustration style, driving them both forward.

Experience/Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience designing for websites.
  • Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Sketch.
  • Able to present effectively to VD/UX peers, business owners and marketing teams.
  • Have a Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating skills and approach to user-centered design as well as fluency in best practices.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative team player with a hands-on attitude.

Bonus:

  • Experience defining or maintaining design style guide
  • Ability to collaborate with web developers in improving web templates and design rules
